CONVICTED ON GUN POSESSION CHARGES

Persia will be senteced to serve 31/2 years this Friday December 12, 2008 for protecting herself in a DOMESTIC VIOLENCE situation with an alleged known criminal. She says she was also tricked by her lawyer to take a deal that was unfair to her in the end. Ladies check out the interview with Persia herself and get her side of the story. Then stand up!!!!!! As some of you may or may not know I was arrested on gun possesion charges back in 2006 stemming from an extreme case of domestic violence. My life and the life of my family were in great danger and due to the fact that the person in question was working with the police I was left no choice but to protect myself.

But none of this matters to the courts, to them I am simply a criminal in possesion of a firearm, and in their eyes I deserve to be sentenced to 3 1/2 yrs in prison.

This has been a trying time for me as I have a 6 month old daughter and am in the process of signing my first record deal....

My lawyer basically sold me up the river and did me dirty.I am in the process of hiring another lawyer but many have said it is too late. So if all else fails I will be sentenced on Dec 12th at the Kingston Court House in Ulster County NY.

I ask that you keep me in your prayers and know that I will return to finish what I started ! Team Persia will keep you updated on the situation as the date grows closer.....
